Hi everyone - We're a two team IT operation charged with now supporting a new BCM400. Company won't contract with Nortel for support, so we're seeking others who offer support on a per incidence basis. There are not many companies outside of the UK that offer this service adv. on the Internet, so I'm turning to the experts here.

Can anyone here offer suggestions or advice as to whom I should contact for this type service?

Maybe in the old days... but engaging a contract to support without having even a final recourse to Nortel is like using an anvil for a parachute.

3.7 without patches...Add copper trunks and it's like hollering in the grand canyon, sounds good when you're a tourist but you'll go bankrupt attending sites. Real-time QoS monitoring is improved in 4.0

LOL.....I like your analogy. Unfortunately, our system was installed by the local telco, who offer no phone support for the BCM400. Too bad this wasn't realized before the contract was signed by mgt! Ugh

But, we did have an authorized Nortel solution provider contact us right after I posted this. So, now I'm just waiting to see who else is out there and compare offerings.
