Hi all,

I'm looking for a device that enables me to send text messages (sms).
I know I could use an external cellphone and connect it to a server or computer with cable or something similar but I don't want that.

I'm looking for a pci-card device where I could insert a simcard which enables me to send text messages.

I must be supported under linux;

Anyone with tips, advice?

I'm sure I've run into something like that in the past, but cannot come up with it. I do know that Verizon Wireless (If you are in the US) offers a Cardbus card capable of sending text messages, but based on your description, your provider wouldn't be Verizon either.
