I am looking for a solution that would allow me to scan in hard copies of data and automatically place some of the data into a specific position in a database via OCR. And somthing that would allow me to place graphics files of original documents on file in .tif format with each account/record. If this would be with a database other than MS Access or Sun StarOffice, I would need the ability to import and export .xls, and .doc files. I would need to be able to mail merge as well. If anyone has any info on existing programs similar to this or knowledge of developers of software such as this, please let me know. This would be for a medium sized financial setting. Thanks,
