Looking for low cost call ad-hoc recording

Hi,
We have very basic needs for call recording and all the partners' products are overkill. Currently, we need to plug in a tape recorder to an adapter and record manually. We're looking for a simple digital recording app, even a DIY solution.
Any ideas?

Depending how much you are looking to spend, but I know Wygant has an affordable solution for digital recording. And with them you can do trunk side recording or initiate recording via a command if you are using CTI.
