looking for latest info on SMB3 and VFP9

We are trying to get SMB3 working with Visual Foxpro and saw an article referenced in thread184-1800416 - (

however that datafile.co.uk thread seems no good anymore.

Does anyone have best practices for using VFP9 tables in a multiuser environment with SMB3?

Hello,

I found a thread with a pdf explaining it here :

Our tech guys STRONGLY recommend NOT to disable SMB3, it may be serious security problem.
Some of our customers do not allow it anyway.
It does not matter for us, since >5 years we use MS-SQL instead of DBF.
