Looking for info on NetCloak plug in

My ISP uses NetCloak for CGI forms. Although my ISP hasn't upgraded so they can use the plug in I would like more information about what this plug in does and how it works. Then I can encourage my ISP to upgrade if I know what I'm talking about. I can't find anything on the Macromedia site about NetCloak plug ins. If anyone has any information I would appreciate either giving me the Macromedia URL or just your own personal explanation.:cool:
