Looking for HP Systems Forum or? 1

I was given a HP Pavilion 6736, system down do to electrical storm. I want to find a site where I can find out the manual or system specs, also what is the right way to go about checking out what exactly is the problem. I want to "play" with it and learn more about computers while doing so. I Would like to see if it is worth rebuilding, but probably know the answer do to the low prices of systems out there.

Also suggest you look around on the web and see if any are on sale to see the current value.
