Looking for Help on VPN and NAT

I have just recently started working for a Company with 5 offices all useing versions of 3Com's Office Connects using NAT. I am fairly new to working with VPN and NAT and want to know some good sources to read more about NAT and VPN. I am not really sure what NAT is and would like to setup VPN between the offices to share data and allow access to the Domain Servers and Exchange. I would like to get some reading and information before I start. I would like to make the VPN availble to people at home also. Starting with me. I have a cable Modem with a Wireless Linksys Router. Any help or suggestions of reading would be great.

I know just the manual for 70-220 exam from microsoft. I saw another book (from MS press, ... and the answer of a guy that was trying to learn something from it was: "hey I learnet from you in 5 minutes what I couldn't understand in that huge book in months&quot.

So, that is the best manual I think about security issues, issues that are the heart of VPN.
