Looking for documentation of dB level range for the Cisco 7965 devices.

I need to show what is possible from a 7965 without an amplifier and what is the advantage gained by installing an amplifier (Plantronic M22). Non-Plantronic documentation shows that the amplifier can add 24dB but, that is not in addition to the phone. The phone has to be kept at 50% volume or less for the amplifier to be used. Has anyone had to document this sort of thing and can anyone share their documentation. Google is just failing me. Thanks much for your time.

Are you reffering to the Plantronics headset? It's pretty much plug and play. Goes into the headset port. Adjust the switch (1-5) can't remember which setting, but its only five of them so it should be quick to find. Adjust the volume and ready to go.
