Looking for comprehensive info on SMS2003

We have installed SMS2003 over two sites each with about 400 clients. System seems to be working quite well except for a few annoying isssues. The client (be it advanced or std) just seems to dislike some machines. It will install, but then will not update inventories etc. When it comes to uninstalling I often get blue screens of death. All our laptops/desktops are running 2000 prof +. Firtsly, anyone out there having the same glitchy issues. Secondly, anyone out there know of any good websites etc where I can get more info on SMS 2003?

Also, anyone out there used SMS2003 to manage inventory etc on remote clients over the internet? Management point in a DMZ ?
