I am to help friends to reconfigure a BP50 installation in a small hotel (50+ analog extensions). The company who installed the box 20+ years ago did not share the admin password/pins (to secure future maintenance tasks ;-) ). That information got now somehow lost, too.
That BP50 is feed by two BRI ISDN lines and serves 50+ analog and a few ISDN extensions.
As the BP50 still works actually fine and has just a small issue on one ISDN line to the exchange office, nobody wants to it replace for another one (not to consider rewiring the entire building with PoE for VoIP, nor replace all handsets). We want to reset it to factory settings and reconfigure it from scratch. This may also allow to search for that mentioned issue. A new PBX serving that much analog extensions become scarce anyways.
Could anyone share a link or business contact from where to get the manuals and required "MBS" software?
Ericsson's PBX business was sold to Aastra and then further to Mitel, but I did not find any resources there for that "well-working-proven-technology" box.
