Looking for barcode software

Hi,
I'm looking for a piece of software that would let me input a starting barcode number and a number of barcodes that I want printed and it would automatically fill in the rest of the numbers.
(ie. start number is 1000 and I want 50 barcodes, it would print codes for 1000, 1001, 1002,1003, etc.)

I wanted to be able to stick the lables on items and then scan the label and enter information about it instead of having to enter all the info for an item and then print out a label.

Anybody know of a program that would do this?

You could try

and download their Bar-one Lite program

Install the program and use the icon of a page with a ruler through it to setup the label size you want to use.

On the right side you will see 'data,form,couter' right click on counter and add a new one, set your starting number to 1000

click on the barcode icon to the right of the 'data,form,counter' and click on the label area.

As this is the freebe lite version you will only have a few options open to you. Select the barcode type, select 'human readable' to place the number below the barcode and finaly select 'source' and click on the counter you created.

This software is designed to be used Zebra label printers but will also work with any other type of printer if you have the Windows drivers for it.

I would try a barcode font. Then you can use any software.
