We're looking for a software package (call it auto sign on ASO) to
> support the following:
> 1. a user starts a secure application.
> 2. the login prompt appears.
> 3. user passes his/her HID prox card in front of a reader
> 4. ASO authenticates user and enters valid user name & password if
> user is valid and enabled to use that secure application.
> 5. ASO must interface with Active Directory
All the "Single Sign On" packages for enterprises are way beyond our reach and typically perform much more than we need them to do.
We're a small company of 52 people. Surely, there's an app that some one has written that will essentially perform a "lookup" in Active Directory when someone passess his/her card in front of a reader without costing a ga-zillion $'s?
Any help would greatly appreciated.
