I'm starting out on a project that requires many online forms. One of the project spec's is that some input fields have to take anywhere from 4K to 8K characters and retain format to another spec (1.5 in margins etc)
I'm thinking of using word since they can pretty much type to their hearts content and do there own formatting.
I'm going to have to pull some of the data from the inputs and drop it in a DB which I dont see as a problem.
I'm just looking for ideas as in is using word a viable option or is there a better tool.
Some of the forms have up to 60 checkboxes and 10 to 20 Input fields which text length can really vary, and combox/dropdown boxes.
I've looked at adobe but I run into the same problem that the text boxes/areas are not dynamic enough to adjust to the typed in text length.
I'm just wonder if Im going in the correct direction by using word.
