I was wondering if anyone could suggest an alternative to Look@LAN. It doesn't want to work properly on my Windows 7 x64 system. The developers are working on a GUI for their new command line tools, but there's no telling when that will be released.
These are the main features that I'm after:
1. Compatibility with Windows 7 x64 and XP x32.
2. Allow multiple IP address scan ranges instead of just one range at a time.
3. Profile support so that I can switch between different combinations of scan ranges and keep track of online/offline machines.
4. Main screen should display IP address, status, host name, current user. Would be nice to see other info like MAC addresses and ping times.
These are features that I'd like, but aren't absolutely necessary:
1. Ability to run from a flash drive.
2. Ability to investigate an IP address in more depth (open ports, SNMP info, shares, etc.)
