Hello, I'm looking for a VPS hosting plan that can offer:

1) Installation of PHP both as module and as CGI. Access to my php.ini.

2) FTP access to the directory where the mysql tables are stored (../data/).

3) The "AT" scheduler (usually on FreeBsd) in order to schedule tasks that run only once.

4) Of course Cron scheduler but everybody offer it anyway.

5) FTP access to httpd.conf and manual edition of this file.

6) FTP access to each email account.

7) FTP access and manual edition of the files used for email aliasing and forwarding.

The only one I know is Verio but they are too expensive considered that this is for my personal use (not work related).

Thank you for giving hints.
Have a nice day all!

Hello Wullie!

How are you?
It's a long time since we haven't exchanged a few words together isn't it.

Your idea is nice but unfortunately I can't do that since I'm the kind of person who moves a lot.

Have a nice day.

Sleidia,

I'm great, how about you?

I didn't even notice the name when I replied.

One thing I would say about what you require is that php as a cgi is a bad idea.

This is quoted directly from the php install file:

Note, we consider installing PHP like this suicidal. Wullie

I'm doing well thanks.
I can see that you've become the "Chief Master Commandant..." of this forum :)
One more step before the ultimate achievement (a last pleasure before the first nuclear blast hehe)

Well, concerning PHP as CGI I need it in order to run PHP files upon reception of emails in order to manage the content of several parts of my website. I don't like Perl and ... I feel lucky ;)

See you.
