Looking for Acct/POS examples

I am using Delphi 7 Ent. and getting more involved. I want to create software for restaurants that is both easy to use and flexible. I am curious if there are any example materials(through whatever medium) on creating Point of Sale software in Delphi and also other related issues (such as accounting, security, writing device drivers for Touch Screens, Receipt printers, etc).
