Is there a tool that I can use to maintain a in Designer generated helpfile??

Can you be a bit more specific? Are you generating MS-Help? Table data for Forms-based help? Chances are that you need to change help in Designer and re-generate, but I'd like more info to know for sure.

We have a application in Designer. This application contains 'USER / HELP TEXT' on different levels, e.g. module level / blok level / group level etc.

We generate a mshelp file. After that we compilate the helpfile with 'MS help compiler' or 'MS help Workshop'.

Then we have a help file. If you press F1 within the application you get the correct 'helptext' thats related to the form thats openend (or item).

But when we want to make some chances in the help text we have to do that in Designer in the 'USER/HELP text' fields.

When we re-generate the helpfile the pointers in the file are incorrect. When you press F1 within within the application you don´t get the related 'help text'.

So now we are looking for a tool that can make the chances we want in the 'helpfile' as well as in Designer. And that we not have to re-generate the 'help file'. And that the 'helpfile' stil works fine (that the links are stil working)

Thanx..
