I have a LAN at the house which runs fine...however I'm installing another PC which is down the road and needs to be hooked into my home lan.I installed a point to point T1 between the 2 houses .The answers I'm looking for is how to config the routers between the 2 sites. The info that came with the used routers is totally worthless (Openroute GTX1000's) I would like to find something on the net that shows a typical point to point WAN setup..ie IP addressing..whether to use RIP or not...DHCP or static...etc.I'm looking to hook up one or maybe 2 PC's at the remote location (other side of the T) in order to access my DSLmodem via my LAN.
Anyone have any URL links on this stuff?
thanks
Todd
