I was hoping someone might know of a product that could help me out in my situation. We have a rather large VoIP environmnet and use IP conference phones. Our users have a bad habit of pulling out the network cables to use for laptop access and then don't plug the phones in correctly and due to this I spend entirely too much time responding to calls that there's something wrong with the conference room phone. Does anyone know of a product that will lock in the network connection so it cannot be removed? Thanks in advance.

There is such a thing, I believe sandman in Chicago has something. Check the cabling forum for more answers.

check all your vendors for this, call them and ask about it. I know cdw used to have something liek this, especialy nice for paranoid server admins!
