Looking for a patch

When a few of my users are logged on to our network via VPN, they have a problem opening MS Outlook (2000). A pop-up box appears asking them for log-on credentials. This should not appear and I remember seeing an article in MSKB referring to a patch that was available to resolve this. Problem is, I've just spent 30 minutes searching MSKB and there's no trace of the article or patch. Can anyone assist wme with this?
