I have a server that has 70 GB of data. I used to backup the data to an enternal hard drive every Saturday. However, I need to start to backup the 70 GB daily now. I have a 1TB external hard drive so the space is not a problem. Is there a good and cheap software that you know I can use for this task? I perfer to use normal backup but maybe 70 GB on one night will take too long to complete.
Please give me some suggestions. Thanks.

We were using BackupExec, but have recently started to experiment with Acronis. Both are good solutions, but please share what you are backing up so that we can better understand your needs.

On top of regular backups using Tivoli Storage manager, what we used to do for quick file access is to run a batch file using robocopy to copy all files from each server to an external disk array, and set it up to have two copies of the backups and then every robocopy would perform an incremental to each folder every second day

Just to give you a Time reference. I back up 26 GB nightly to an external USB drive using the Windows Native backup. Full system backup, so it is backing up all types of files including the system state. Backup time runs 2 hours.
