Thanks for listening:
I have a family history website at My hobby is collecting old images of my hometown and I have been serving that up at The latter site has attracted great interest and so I'd like to move it to its own domain. To that end, I registered and have set up for virtual hosting such that a call to the latter site sends the user to The problem is this: the photosite has some 2,000 thumbnail images on 50 web pages which all link back to full sized images at And so, when one accesses the new domain, the links to the webphotos don't work. That's because the thumb points the user (as an example) to Of course, the directory webphotos is actually at and not, (I hope this makes sense). Question is, without reworking 2,000 webphoto links, is there an easy way that a call from will actually bring an image in a directory that's one level behind the website itself? (God, I hope you can understand this).
Thanks...

Hi mate,

I am confused!!

I think that the best way would either be to set an alias to the photos domain or use a search and replace program to alter all of the links..

If you want a search and replace, I know of one that can alter all of your pages in about 10 seconds...

Let me know what way you want to go...

Hope this helps Wullie
