Hello all,
I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question (so if it's not please feel free to point me in the right direction)-- I'm in the process of setting up our office to accept faxes via computer rather than the fax machine. I have a small (10 computer) setup. All workstations are running W2K and the server is running Win2K Small Business Server. The main goal behind the switch is to gain the ability to digitally archive all incoming correspondence and allow people to fax from their desktop. The dilemma I have is I want all faxes to be forwarded to our receptionist’s desktop so she can send them to the intended recipient. If the receptionist is not in (or her computer is not on) I want the faxes to be sent to a second computer. Overnight I would like the faxes to be stored on the server so that the 1st person in, in the morning can retrieve them. I would also like the program to be as user friendly as possible.
I there an “affordable” program out there that can do this? Has anyone else ran into a similar situation and found that this scenario is not a feasible one?
Your input is greatly appreciated.
