As a cop-out, I used "WHERE DATE > SYSDATE-183", but that is not always accurate. Is there a better way (but still efficient) to get at this?

hi rloiben,
You can use this statement for six months before....

where date>add_months(sysdate,-6)

.............it will be always accurate
