A few months ago I installed an IP500v2 in for a customer who has a large garage. They're having trouble hearing the phone in the garage (9604). Is there some sort of bell or alert system I can install that will (hopefully) connect to the back of the phone? I should have an extra pair of wire at the phone jack (used to have a partner system) if necessary.

Thanks in advance!

I would use an electronic bell that uses an analog station port. The loudest ones are locally powered. Configure analog station port to ring whenever garage phone rings.

We found a sired+strobe combo to use. It will hang off an analog port. I didn't want to run any more cable there, which is why I was originally looking for something that would plug into the phone like a headset.

Okkie26 - I'm not sure how twinning would help them hear a phone.

Because once you've installed the bell to an analogue port you would twin it to the user who needs to hear it :)
