looking 4 faxmodem recommendations

Hello!

I'm looking to set up an automated fax server on my network using a desktop PC that is running SuSE pro 6.3 and HylaFax.

As we all know, this setup requires a faxmodem. So i need to buy one. But when i went to my local PC hardware store, the salesman just blanked me!!! some people are not very Linux-friendly in Ireland. :-(

So before i go out and burn a sizeable wad of cash, i'd just like to know if any one can recommend a good faxmodem. My requirements are pretty straightforward: it must be a serial faxmodem and SuSE 6.3 compatible.

Well, I've used a Best Data serial port modem running under Suse 8.1 and it worked great. I think just about any serial port modem should work.

There should be more linux friendly people in Ireland.
