We've just had succ.4 installed on a opt.11

today we tried to remove a phone but the phone system said no......

this was due to the fact that the extn was being monitored by our nice pile o'

Now we've not had this trouble with any other rls of software. Has anyone else run into this?

we had to stop our voice recorder before we could do anything with the TN.........

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.
 
After logging this as a fault with bothe nice and our phonesystem maintainers, we got the following:

Nortel have tightened up the database to avoid any corruption so if you want to work on a phone that is "aquired" you have to de-aquire it first.

So as the nortel driver for nice isn't able to individually de-aquire sets that are being monitored we'll have to wait til out of hours so that we can stop the cls and do our normal work.

Does this suck????? do the other cti drivers allow for individual sets to be added and removed on the fly?[ponder]

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.
