look ahead - 3 week time period 1

MS Project 2007
When printing, I can use the timescale function to adjust the time period shown.
However when in Gantt view, all tasks are still shown/printed.
How do i limit the tasks to only those that occur during the 3 week period?

View > Gantt
Choose the "Date range..." filter

You will get two prompts and both are somewhat obscure but, basically, enter the beginning date and the ending date -- for example: June 1 and June 21.

You will see:
1. any tasks with a Start between Jun1 and Jun21.
2. any tasks with a Finish between Jun1 and Jun21.
3. any tasks with a Start before Jun1 and a Finish after Jun21.
