Could someone please tell me how long the Seagate Travan 20 (10/20 GB) tapes should last. I am using two different tapes for backup M-Th and each Friday I am switching between two monthly tapes.
Thanks!

I've read/heard that tape life is 1 year or 100 uses. I rotate tapes out every 6 months. Any given tape is used once every 2 weeks. I do full backups daily everyday except Sunday.

Tapes are a LOT cheaper than data!
