Long tones w/ASM on MICS

A customer of ours services a doctor's office that has dictation devices connected to ports on an ASM. Problem is they can't dial touchtones on internal calls to the ASM ports without using F808 to turn on long tones. Is there any way in programming to always have long tones turned on with calls to the ASM ports? We suggested having F808 programmed to a spare button, but the doctors all have T7208 phones with no buttons they are willing to give up. Thanks.

Can you put a Hot Line Route on each of the 7208s so that when they go off hook on intercom the route programming takes over inserting F808 and then intercom dial tone is returned? The rest of the system won't care if the long tones are on or not at all times.

The customer ended up sending calls out over a CO and back in to the hunt group in order to touchtone the dictation ports. Thanks for the suggestion.
