I have upgraded my 4.11 to 5 and was warned to enable long name support as it isn't done by default during an upgrade.I havent found a reference yet on the command or how to implement it for the different volumes.
Any insight would be appreciated.

((The following is directly from Novell's site:))

At the console prompt, type "LOAD LONG.NAM". (For 3.12 it would be "LOAD [SPACETYPE(e.g. OS2).NAM])

At the console prompt, type " ADD NAME SPACE LONG TO VOLUME <volume name>"

If you would like the full TID, it's # 10016377
Good Luck ~

Thanks a lot.I tried it worked perfect. Now if I hadn't
really did a number my server would be running great.
I had to set a user policy and wasnt watching what I was doing (someone was talking to me) and I apparently limited the admins account with a user policy and now cant do anything.I didnt realize that I could lock the admin out of an object I knew I could do it in 4.11 nds rights but not for an object.
I was trying to get a policy to remove run command to work for two groups and it kept stopping the admin account from the same thing.
So like an idiot I added him into associations and wasn't watching his rights and noticed just after I clicked ok.
I guess its a complete format reinstall but atleast it wasnt an active server it was a test machine.
