Long Distance Routing Over Networked BCM's

I have 12 BCM50's and 1 BCM400 all networked together using VOIP trunks in a private network. I am able to dial 4-digits from any BCM to another BCM Centralized Voicemail works. All systems are in the same area code. What I need to do is route certain long distance calls from BCM A thru BCM B via VOIP trunks and ultmately through BCM B's PSTN making the call a local call from BCM A thru BCM B.

I can get the call from BCM A to route to the VOIP trunks of BCM A but I get a fast busy and disconected. I can dial the following from BCM A....1260585 as soon as I dial any other digit, I get a fast busy and then disconnected. I'm pretty sure I am following the instructions from Nortel correctly but seem to be missing something but am not sure what.

Any suggestions?
 
Have you built a Remote Package for site B and assigned the package to the lines and Pools that you are going to be using? You need to assign the package for the inbound Voip lines and also the whatever lines you are goint to use to go out on.

I have a question for you if you don't mind. Are you using Centralised voicemail for all the systems? The reason I ask is because I thought to use it you have to use CDP with each location a unigue starting extension number.
 
I'm pretty sure I programmed the remote access package. I am going back in site this week and will double check.

Yes, each site has its own unique DN i.e. 61XX, 60XX, 62XX and so on.
 
Also make sure that you have a different Rout in site A for those calls to go out on and mark it as PUBLIC. It can use the same Voip trunks.

 
Look at your routing, destination codes, and absorb length. When you send a digit to a particular BCM through the VOIP trunks it needs to see the right digits.

If 9 is the line pool code of the remote systems trunks then the system needs to see it to be able to pick up a line in the pool to dial out or it will give a fast busy because it is an invalid # you are dialing.

See if the # is being absorbed before it hits the remote system by using the BCM monitor.

Also check your dialing plan for the length of the dial string or it won't allow all the #'s to be sent or it will cut it short.
