6 months ago I switched local and long distance to one carrier (Verizon). I am still getting bills from AT&T. Verizon tells me that according to their switch all numbers are through them. AT&T tells me that they can't tell me anything other than Verizon sends them the info to bill for. Is it possible that there is a code programmed into our system, if so how do I find it and get rid of it.

Call 1-700-555-4141 from each line to determine who is the registered LD carrier, first.

I called 700-555-4141, it says AT&T is the carrier. Verizon says on there swich, they are the carrier for all of our lines. I am just getting the run around from both of them, meanwhile I am continually getting a bill from AT&T, this month was $800.00, most of the calls were local too.

I thinkthat there is probably a preprogrammed code installed, when we dial 9 to dial out it goes to this code, anyone know how to find this out??

I had this problem once. Sometimes big telephone companies lease space on each other network so, if ATT owns the switches that connect to your facility and Verizon is "leasing" some space, if ATT does not fix their stuff, then ATT will get the signal as if you were using their equipment. Make sure that ATT take you off their system and everything will be fine.

Do a print out of your ARS Tables and see if there are digits inserted, if so delete them.

Thanks, there were digits in the ARS tables. I have deleted them. I will wait and see on the next bill if it worked.---It shoud've done the trick

How did you get to the ARS table via WinSPM? I can't find it.

Try going to 'Old SPM', from the main menu select 'TABLES' > ARS

I seldom (if ever) use the Win portion of WinSPM (old school) so I can't help you there. Also, if your operating in Key Mode, you won't have access to the Tables.
