Loking for a Firewall with Proxyservices

Hi all,

is the ASA500series able to work (featureset) with proxysets? Im looking for a firewall with proxyfeatures for manual proxyport definition. (Proxy for HTTP, Telnet , FTP etc).

When not...who can make suggestions for other kind of products. THX

The ASA's application inspection engine lets you define application behavior for almost any service, including the ones you indicated above. That combined with acl's allowing the manual proxy ports should be sufficient. The ASA will also perform port redirects from standard ports like HTTP over 80 to non standard like HTTP over 8880.
