Hi

We have a backup, using ntbackup on SBS 2003, scheduled to run every evening. However, the GUI seems to close after the backup and is not there with the completed window when I log on in the morning.
I need to get the log of these backups. Is there a folder in which they are automatically stored? if not, how would I get them?

Cheers!

View the SBS Console, under backup you should see a green or red circle to indicate the backup status. Clicking the job will let you view the logs.

By default the location for NTBackup logs is
C:\Documents and SettingsAdministrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows NT\NTBackup\data"

But with SBS there is an SBS Backup User account which would then replace Administrator in the above path.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
