I have a shared directory on my xserve that I haved mapped
to my pc clients. My XP clients have no problems
connecting (had to use mac admin account to map, which
sucks and is part of the problem...). My 2k clients also
are mapped to the same share using the admin account.
When I reboot the XP clients, everything will reconnect
fine. When I reboot the 2k clients, it is trying to re-
authenticate; i.e. needs the password again. Seeing how
this is the admin password, I am not to thrilled about
giving it out. Is there some type of setting that will
store that password on the 2k clients?

Check that the 'Protected Storage' service is running on those clients.

Tried that, the Protected Storage Service is running on these comps.....
