Hi,
I have one problem. I have a windows 2003 domain with 2 domain controllers.PDC(Primary domain controller) is Win 2003 Standard edition and ADC (Additional domain controller) is Win 2003 Enterprise edition. I have configured Terminal Service on ADC. License server is also installed on the same server. Primary DNS is on PDC.
Now my problem is when ever the PDC is shutdown, users are facing problem in logging in to Terminal server on ADC.
The login process takes 5 to 10 minutes.
I thought it is DNS issue and so installed secondary DNS on this server. Still then the problem exists.
Even ordinary clients are slow in Loging in to this domain.
I feel according to theory the ADC should take over automatically when PDC is not available. But it is not happening.
Can any body tell me why log on process to Terminal server and domain is slow when the PDC is shutdown
Thanks and Regards
Sadguru
