I am not a SCO Administrator Just the AIX admin. So when asked to look at their system I have tried all I know to get the message

Terminal ttyp0 is disabled -- see Account Administrator
Connection closed.

Fixed but can't seem to find the problem Can any one help me.

We have network connections

You can also try this:
Code:
ttyunlock ttyp0

Hope This Help
PH.

PHV is correct.
On this particular situation I should have mentioned this one instead of enable.

Just so that you know the reason for this to happen is because to many unsuccessful attempts were made attempting to log in to that terminal.

go to scoadmin->terminal manager
and see what values are set on this, as well as which other ttys are blocked.

IF this is something that happens again I would advise you to start logging consecutive unsuccessful logins by creating the following file.

/usr/adm/loginlog

and then you can verify which username is being used more often with wrong passwords.
