logon to NT domain server 1

i am installed samba in my linux mandrake workstation.
i can sharing files between win98 machines.
but i have no idea how to use my linux workstation to logon to my office NT domain server.

can linux workstation logon to NT domain server just like others 95/98 client machines or not? if so, please help.
 
Using smbmount shares from a Windows box can be viewed/modified/etc on a Linux station. But, I have not actually tried to log into a Windows controlled domain using Linux.
