logon screen greyed out problem

hi all,

wonder if anyone's come across this before? Got a win xp pro with sp2 on it, joined to a domain, running Sophos up to date.

User came in in the morning, hit CTRL+ALT+DEL, she got a login screen with the Username and Password fields greyed out! She could only select to log onto the domain or pc - for what that was worth. Anyway, did a quick reboot and that seemed to resolve the problem.

But i need to investigate this to prevent it from happening again - does anyone know of spyware or viruses that could do this - or just a glitch in Win XP?

Hopefully just one of those things.
