We recently close out one of our offices and move the employees to another office. Now everytime these users logon on at the new office it takes at least half an hour before it show the desktop. It seems to sit right after the logon script executes. I am having the users bring up task manager, and select new task then type explorer.exe and that will bring up the desktop imeadiately. Is anyone familiar with this problem or know what it is? I know it is possible that something is in the logon script that could be causing it. Any quick help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Check the user settings.
If the homefolder is pointing to a non existing server, it may cause a slight delay
You may also want to check the profiles settings
(try disabling both the profiles & the homefolder settings)
Also, check if the TCP/IP settings of the clients (or the DHCP scope options) do not contain a IP address that doesn't exist anymore
