How do I bypass the W2K logon password? I have 2 computers using W2K Pro that are networked. On will boot to the desktop not requiring a logon password the other one does. I have been unable to find where I can remove the need for a password at logon.

Are tehy both Win2k pro machines? if so you can go to
START>SETTINGS>CONTROL PANEL then go to USERS AND PASSWORDS.
At the top it stated "Users must enter a user name and password to use this compter". Uncheck it. It will then ask you for a user name and password to always boot to. Enter the one you want> It should now boot directly to the decktop. If you need help ask. James Collins
