Hi,

CRW 7.0 Pro

I have compiled a report for use on the same PC on which my database resides, so this is an uncomplicated situation.

However, when I try to run the report, I am presented with a logon parameters box, which details the Server and the path to the database (both correct), logon name (admin), and shows an empty password entry box.

The database is not protected in any way, and no passwords are set. Why is this happening, and how can I prevent it? I have so far been unable to proceed beyond this step.

Thanks,

Johnny Jebel

Johnny: I assume this is an Access database you are connecting to (Admin user gives this away) - are you using a newly defined ODBC connection or are you using an ODBC connection which was defined on another machine - this could explain why you are getting the request. Double check your ODBC definition on the machine you are trying to run the report on David C. Monks
