Have a Windows 2000 server on a domain. This server acts as a print server for the domain and also runs the backup (Arcserve 9.0) Tonight after a restart it will no longer log onto the desktop. When I enter the admin username and password it goes through the applying settings and then immediately goes to saving settings and logs me right back off.
Does the same thing in safe mode with the local accounts. Other accounts have the same problem.
Any ideas? Have run a search and found a reference to a boot partition letter name change causing the problem but it referrs to mirrored drives and this PC is a RAID-5 machine.
