Hi

I have a SQL 2005 Server (on windows 2003), a consultant wants to install run a script using the SA account (secure I know) however the SA logon will not work unless logged on to the local server as admin - it will not work as domain admin or any other account with local admin privileges. Is this right, I know that he should not be using the SA account at all

Regards

Peter

It shouldn't matter what Windows login you are logged into the server with if you are using the sa account to connect to the SQL Server.

I wouldn't have any problem running the script using the SA account, provided that I've read through the script and I know what it's doing prior to running it.
