Question - is logging on to a terminal services session logging on interactively ????

im finding different interpretations just on the microsoft website alone. I reckon it is and disabling an interactive logon via TS would be to disable the logon locally in the security policy of the machine. Am i right ???

btw, this is a Citrix box

Yes, it is. Because "interactively" means that you're supposedly sitting at the TS computer, which is what you want.

When you see a message stating the user can't log on interactively in terminal services, it means the user doesn't have rights to log on locally to the computer hosting terminal services. You must give terminal service users the right to log on locally to your terminal service host.

For security reasons, this host shouldn't be a domain controller.
