Hi all,

Not sure where to put this post, decided to go here as the problem is happening on an Exchange 2k3 server.

An account is trying to be logged on to several hundred times a day. The account exists but is locked out, it seems like whatever is trying to logon as the account has the incorrect password.

Running a report shows the logon to be of type 3 and the name of the exchange server. It does not show where the connection is coming from but it does show the Caller Process ID - that Process belongs to store.exe which is part of Exchange.

None of the Exchange services run under this account but somewhere Exchange is trying to access that account and causing lockouts and failures in the security logs.

Does anyone where else within Exchange the logon failures would be coming from or where credentials may be stored?
