I setup Reporting Services a few months back, and evidently must have configured it to run under my domain account, because since I updated my domain password I am unable to execute any of my reports or access the Report Manager. I received the below error message when attemmpting these things. How can I update my domain password?

The report server cannot open a connection to the report server database. The logon failed. (rsReportServerDatabaseLogonFailed) Get Online Help Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.

if its ssrs2005, why dont you click program files->Microsoft sql server 2005 ->Configuration Tools ->Reporting Services Configuration

I believe you should be able to fix that problem by bringing up the configuration screen.

Unfortunately, this is 2000. Any ideas for 2000?

I tried to use the rsconfig.exe command line utiltity to simply update the credentials, but am now receiving this error,

"The version of the report server database is either in a format that is not valid, or it cannot be read. The found version is 'C.0.6.43'. The expected version is 'C.0.6.51'. To continue, update the version of the report server database and verify access rights.

Any thoughts on what I should next before it gets worse? Thanks.

Is your report server database "on another box?", c.0.6.51 is sql server 2000 service pack 1, is is possible your report server which hosts your database has not been updated to sql server 2000 service pack 1?

If not, probably update the report server so it has sql server 2000 service pack 1

Be advised that there is a later service pack (service pack 2) for sql server 2000 though.
