Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible trap a logon event in SQL Server 2008 Management Studio express? I want to use it to activate a procedure every time anyone connects to the database. I have tried setting up a logon trigger and also tried to dabble with the service broker but without success. From looking on line, I gather this can be done with full version – however I am wondering if it is simply not possible to do on express version. Any help would be much appreciated!

Dave
